After the first round of the Genesis Invitational on Thursday, Tiger Woods apologized for handing fellow golfer Justin Thomas a tampon. After outdriving Thomas on the ninth hole, Woods offered him the tampon, which Thomas promptly discarded. The two men then shared a laugh and a hug as they left the tee.
The media made a big frenzy and forced Woods to apologize.
“It was supposed to be all fun and games and obviously it hasn’t turned out that way,” Woods said.

“If I offended anybody, it was not the case, it was just friends having fun. As I said, if I offended anybody in any way, shape or form, I’m sorry. It was not intended to be that way. It was just we play pranks on one another all the time and virally I think this did not come across that way, but between us it was – it’s different.”
Due to injuries sustained in a violent car crash in the Los Angeles area after the same tournament, Tiger Woods has played very little professional golf in the past two years. The incident was life-threatening, and Woods underwent surgery. It was uncertain whether he would be able to make a full recovery and return to competitive play.
Wait, I’m confused… Tiger Woods handing another man a tampon is unacceptable but putting tampons in the boy’s bathroom is totally OK… Y’all liberals have lost your minds

In the final round of the Genesis Invitational, Tiger Woods finished 2 over. He wore his traditional red shirt and, after acknowledging the fans, raised his putter and walked up the stairs to the scoring tent. This was the 47-year-old’s first official PGA Tour event since he missed the cut at the 150th Open in St. Andrews in July. It was also the first time he played 72 holes since finishing 47th at the Masters in April, which was his first start in an official event since his serious car wreck outside Los Angeles in February 2021.
“It was progress, but obviously I didn’t win,” Woods explained. “My streak continues here at Riv. No, I felt like the first couple days I left certainly a lot of shots out there with some putts, especially Friday when I was blocking everything. Yesterday was better. Still wish I could have gotten within a touch of the leaders, but today they’re running away with it.”
“My team has been fantastic in getting my body recovered day to day and getting me ready to play each and every day. That’s the hard part that I can’t simulate at home. Even if I played four days at home, it’s not the same as adrenaline, it’s not the same as the system being ramped up like that, the intensity, just the focus that it takes to play at this level.”
Proving the woke sports media has no sense of humor at all, Tiger Woods is being attacked for giving Justin Thomas a tampon after outdriving him on 9. For the record, this is fucking hysterical by Tiger, well played. Makes me like him way more: https://t.co/FmStuPh089

“Here’s the deal: Like I told you guys last year, I’m not going to play any more than probably the majors and maybe a couple more. That’s it, that’s all my body will allow me to do. My back the way it is, all the surgeries I had on my back, my leg the way it is, I just can’t. That’s just going to be my future.”
“So, my intent last year was to play in all four majors. I got three of the four. Hopefully this year I can get all four and maybe sprinkle in a few here and there. But that’s it for the rest of my career. I know that and I understand that. That’s just my reality.”
