Tom Brady to the Dolphins? It’s not as far fetched as it sounds.
The seven time Super Bowl champ was spotted in Miami checking out schools for his kids. Brady, who just finished his third season with the Buccaneers, is a free agent this spring.
While current Dolphin’s quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had a breakout year, he is still dealing with head injuries that plagued him all season long. According to Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN, Tua Tagovailoa will not be playing in the Pro Bowl next week due to being in the concussion protocol, as reported on Friday.
The source also stated that Tagovailoa is taking his time in the protocol seriously and consulting with multiple doctors and specialists. The Dolphins are putting his long-term health as a priority and there have been no complications so far.
The Dolphins have a deadline of May 1st to decide on whether to activate the fifth-year option on Tagovailoa’s rookie contract.

Enter Brady. It is unlikely that Brady will continue his contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a fourth season. The speculation of his interest in Miami, where he has a home, adds credibility to the rumors that he may potentially join the Miami Dolphins or retire in the city.
Tom Brady came out of retirement for another chance to guide the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl. However, the team only managed to barely win the NFC South with a losing record and lost in the wild card round to the Cowboys. A glimpse into the team’s season was evident in Week 14’s footage of Brady being mic’d up. The Bucs’ social team captured the footage of a dejected Brady trying to rally a struggling offense that only scored one touchdown in the loss.

There were many rumors speculating that Brady would join the Dolphins last year, pairing up with former Saint’s coach Sean Payton. The former coach is currently doing his round of interviews with NFL teams. Could this be the year Brady and Payton team up together in South Beach?
